Wolves getting beat again today and West Ham.
I wonder if they'll both even have the same manager by the time they face us.
We must beat both of them let's be honest, it's games against sides like that they tell us where we are, we should be beating both of them.

Nuno Espirito will go to West Ham, I reckon, Jim. Apparently he's already had talks.
As for Wolves, they're really poor, should be beating them.

A certain Mr Calvert-Lewin on the score-sheet... just sayin'!

Pity he couldn't do it regularly at us in his 9 years.
Anyone else think he needed more time !?

Anthony, Calvert-Lewin scored a brilliant header for Leeds??

Haha Christie I know that mate, just messing about 👍

Anthony,
Calvert-Lewin probably just needed a change of personnel in the team but take your point. If he's knocked in 20+ by the end of the season, views on his ability might be different.

Calvert-Lewin is a bang average -- certainly not worthy of extra quids in his pay packet. Murphy's Law he scores the day of the derby.
And to those in control of images on here, why do we keep seeing all these ex-players on ToffeeWeb!

Calvert-Lewin wasn't the answer.
What we needed was a better experienced striker than Beto to start the season, with Barry being eased along.
We failed, it's too late, we must muddle on now until January.

Why so much Calvert-Lewin talk? He was here for years under multiple managers and his only success was with Carlo and him staying in the 6-yard box.
He also turned down our wage offer. He is also playing as part of an attacking 3, not the isolated one up front chasing long balls "the Everton Way".
I hope he does okay at Leeds but his time at Everton was up, a bit like Moyes after 11 years the first time.

Ian,
Completely agree if he knocks in 20, but I highly doubt it, mate; he's not nor never been that level.

Edward,
I've just seen the Calvert-Lewin goal and it was a trademark header from a superb cross.
I dont think Beto has been given that kind of service.

Oliver, there is a new ToffeeWeb website on the way. The new one will no doubt reflect the latest players with the ex-players gone from the site.

Dyche to West Ham?

Jeff, if the West Ham board had any sense, they wouldn't touch Dyche with a bargepole.
Apparently Espirto Santo has had talks.

If that's Everton, Fernandes's goal doesn't count.

Oh the irony - DCL and Richarlson both scored today.
I would like to see N'diaye start at CF on Tuesday, with Dibbling playing on the right. Let's see what happens.

Id like Everton to start on Tuesday a lot quicker and much better than they did today.

I know it's only just begun but there's at least 12 teams that just look right, wether it's a poor start or teams ain't gelling or involvement in Euro competitions...it's hard to tell?
We just need to keep on going, with two very winnable games coming up... I believe Moyes needs to be braver -- especially with using his subs better, and to trust more of his squad players better!

I'd love it if Dyche went to West Ham. I know several of their fans who used to tell me we were lucky to have him. Same with Allardyce.
They all laughed when I asked if they'd want them at their club.

Nobody employs Dyche in September, Mark.
January onwards is his time.

I was under the impression that the Premier League had brought in a new rule that only the team captain could approach the referee.
Watching Arsenal v Man City, I've seen several players surrounding the ref, no action taken. Loads of quick free kicks without the ref blowing but allowing it, no action taken. Arteta repeatedly leaving the technical area, no action taken.
Proof once again that the Sly Six play to a different set of rules to the rest of the Premier League.

Tony,
I noticed that too. It actually seemed as if every time Pep realized he was in the technical area, he made a point of side stepping out of it. But yeah okay for him I guess -- along with 100 financial violations.

Mark
WHU fans would never put up with Dyche. They ran Moyes out -- despite European success -- for being boring.
Fat Sam had them doing okay and ditto. They demand entertainment down in the East End.

I know West Ham fans wouldn't like him -- that's my point! They were all telling me how lucky we were to have him!
I'd love to return the sentiments to the patronising bastards.
I was replying to Jeff's post @15.
