I’m not gonna bore you with the details of what he said about the man but I’ve never heard anyone so enthusiastic about a player in my life, but the general points were this:

I’d love a fully fit Ball back right now but can we take the risk on his knee? I admit, Everton owe him something – but not a neglect of our first team. It’s just too important. Leave it to Moyes. We’ll be fine. PS: I will admit that I agree to Nick Armitage’s statements that Naysmith is crap, but a risk on Ball is not the answer. PPS: Davies nickname is Digger. I don’t know why.
