Season › 2012-13 › News Moyes must be careful not to play into Stoke's hands with tactical tweaking Michael Cox , 29 March, 6comments | Jump to most recent Throughout the 2012-13 season, David Moyes has favoured a 4-4-1-1 formation. Paul Andrews 2 Posted 29/03/2013 at 06:55:57 Hahahahahahahaha 4-4-2 Trevor Lynes 3 Posted 29/03/2013 at 12:54:33 I'm just afraid that Stoke may well pinpoint Heitinga as a central defensive weakness. I don't fancy him against a battery of long throws and physical battles.Maybe Duffy should play as Stoke do not have pacy strikers and Duffy may stand up to the physical intimidation better than JH.Duffy is good in the air and should be better at containing Stoke's aerial menace. Also he has scored a few from set pieces so would be a better asset at corners. Ross Edwards 4 Posted 29/03/2013 at 14:22:18 Do the editors of FourFourTwo have any idea about football at all? There is more of a chance of Kim Jong-un winning the Nobel Peace Prize than Moyes playing 4-4-2. Steavey Buckley 5 Posted 29/03/2013 at 16:14:50 Stoke are concentrating on their aerial strengths with Huth, Crouch, Shawcross and Jones deciding who is going to stand next to Heitinga, as I type, Paul Andrews 6 Posted 29/03/2013 at 17:12:16 How will David tweak his tactics to deal with the obvious problems Steavey has pointed out above?Fingers crossed and hope for the best?Or will he come up with a defensive plan to counter it?
