Hope everyone votes - this is one we can all happily agree on.
Ian Bennett

Ged - I doubt it given some would argue night is day.

If we do win it, does this count as a trophy for Moyes? Is Lyndon going to hot foot it to United with Moyes, Weir, Neville, Lumsden, Barkley, Fellaini, and Baines? Will Mancweb get created, clean up, and then bids come in for BKs shares.

We'll see. Anyway good luck lads.

No Ian - BK will tell us he has been a fan of TW for years and will call it The People's Site........... in memory of............

It's almost like winning a trophy!

This site is superior to other football ones I've been on.

Easily the best football site going - well done Michael and Lyndon, if you could replicate this on the pitch we'd be world beaters!

Votes in!

First and last thing I read each day tbh...

The regulars like Doddy, Edwards, Enswhistle (sorry mate can't spell), Cheek, Eugene and the rest of you guys/girls out there, you are the ones that too, add life to this site... Even if at times some of the opinions raised gives the reaction of WTF?!, you cannot hold back the passion of us Evertonians! Well done Mike/Lyndon and all!

Congrats Lyndon and Michael. If TW weren't so damn good then perhaps I'd get a lot more writing done!

Great website, but if you poll 6th Ross and Eugene what your bags packed.

If I remember rightly, it was between us and Republic of Mancunia as to who got the most votes last year. Looks like they haven't got the stomach for it this time round.

Voted, currently 2nd. Do the top 4 get to play off against the best of Europe?
Kev Johnson
121 Posted 12/05/2013 at 12:18:08
I've voted. TW now at 24.8%. Well played MK and LL.

Matt - if things stay as they are, I understand that TW qualifies for Europe where we get to test our football knowledge, wit and intelligence against the likes of Barcelona and Bayern. I reckon we could give them a game, eh?

This is at last something we can all agree on ToffeeWeb is the best fans site. My thanks to Mike and Lyndon - and also thanks to ALL contributors whether we agree with each other or not.
.After the last few days no matter what our views we all support a great team and we all want the best for our club EVERTON .

Still only 2nd - temporarily, surely?! If there's better out there they must be bloody good - perhaps there's a site where you can get free pie & cake. Mmmm cake.

One thing I've been thinking and that's what happens if we get taken over by an oligarch sheik and over time grow a massive fan base in Asia?

Are Michael and Lyndon prepared for the 10000% increase in submissions and articles - and should they learn mandarin?

Done - good luck!

By the way Nick, you say - "Great website, but if you poll 6th Ross and Eugene what your bags packed"

'WHAT your bags packed'?

Shame - you appear to have been so carried away with your hilarious comment, you've lost concentration and written 'what' instead of 'want'.

Or maybe I'm wrong and you WANTED to say 'what your bags packed'.

To be fair, It sounds stupid, but it would make no less sense than most of your swooning 'I heart David' gibberish.

Couldn't you just let that one go? Thought it was funny no matter what side of the fence you're on. Relax a little.

Great effort, it is a superb site.

Eugene, do you have a sense of humour? You need to lighten up.

Nick - "Couldn't you just let that one go? Thought it was funny no matter what side of the fence you're on. Relax a little"

Why DO the desperate always resort to 'relax'?

I'm perfectly relaxed Nick and it was your comment that showed who couldn't 'let it go'.

Seems (like Corporal Jones's fuzzie-wuzzies) you don't like it 'up you'.

(nb: if you want to give it, be prepared to take it).

Mat - You need to stop using 80s American-speak.

(but please feel free to let me know when I need to 'move on')

Mat Fearon

Back in 2nd place. It seems the RS and Sunderland having multiple entries is dividing their vote, but can anyone explain how a Stoke City website is leading?!? Probably a viral campaign. Get onto it via Facebook and Twatter. Maybe ask Bluekipper / GOT to help? Although I suspect the former will just vote for the Stoke site.

Dennis 937, I hope no Martinez fans have a look at the managers voting either...
Dennis Stevens
950 Posted 13/05/2013 at 20:36:31
Dan #948 - I should imagine anybody indicating support of Martinez or Benitez, etc will be doing so on the basis of how they view their managerial career to date & whether they think they'd be a good fit for Everton, I don't see how a vote like this comes into it at all. It's just a bit of end of season nonsense, that's all.

Apparently BK has just stated. He's been a fan of TW since the early days .
He said he remembers remembers reading it on the tram on his to the game and his Grandad used to help write it on slate in the old days.

Not wishing to creep to the people that run this site, and having just had a look through the list of voters, can I implore any credible regular contributor to vote for ToffeeWeb in the vote.

I, for one am on here day and night and I guess I am not alone.

Vote ToffeeWeb.

if we did have a TW awards (and we should it'd be hilarious) Kev Johnson has to get best Player-Manager.

Just sayin...

TW awards would help some dull summer days. Although this summer may not be as dull.

Michael/Lyndon - I urge you to display this thread more prominently on the Home Page. Stick some flashing lights around it! Anything to make sure people see it. It would be a travesty if any users of this site failed to vote for ToffeeWeb.

Come On You TW!

Nick Entwistle
337 Posted 14/05/2013 at 17:51:18
If you look at the players/ managers section, Moyes is second behind Fergie, Howard is third a long way back from De Gueueyeue, Baines is storming for best defender, Fellaini in third but well behind Bale for midfielder... yet inexplicably we don't have anyone for the striking category...
Ross Edwards
374 Posted 14/05/2013 at 19:06:17
Who's De Gueueyeue?! Is that a mix of David De Gea and Magaye Gueye?

I think we need another push by Michael & Lyndon pushing this story higher back up on the homepage, or refreshing it. SCFC (Swansea City) have pole position at the moment with ToffeeWeb second. To be fair, a better site wouldn't be a problem winning but having visited it, their site is infinitely inferior to this one in a number of categories - user friendliness, style, site mapping, layout, clarity of text, content, interaction, etc, etc, etc.

They are in the number one spot because their visitors have driven the numbers up and not because they are a better site. So that is precisely what I propose we do haha. Seriously, visit SCFC2 and if you think it is better than ToffeeWeb without considering your team's bias leave it as it is but if you think they hold a false position please vote accordingly.
