The date for the Goodison derby match with Liverpool has finally been confirmed for Wednesday 24 April 2024, kick-off 8pm, the middle of three home games in a week that will be screened live on Sky Sports.
The Premier League fixture against Liverpool was scheduled originally for the weekend of 16 March but had to be rearranged owing to the reds' involvement in the FA Cup Quarter-Finals, where they were defeated by Manchester Utd at Old Trafford.
The kick-off time of the derby is subject to change should Manchester City's game against Brighton end up being switched to the same day.
In addition, Everton's home clash with Nottingham Forest, a potential relegation six-pointer "PSR derby", has been put back to Sunday 21 April with a 1:30pm kick-off.
And the Blues' third home game in the space of six days, this time against Brentford, will now start at 5:30pm on Saturday 27 April, although should City progress in the Champions League and end up playing on 30 April, Everton's clash with the Bees will switch to Sunday 28 April at 4:30pm.
If Brentford's current struggle for form continues in the interim, this too could be a huge match in terms of the relegation picture as the business end of the season heats up.

Three massive home games in 7 days, and 9 points, to lead us to safety.
Those piles are strong, Kevin, keep believing, keep the faith, and remember that not even Jesus could build a beautiful stadium on water!

The Premier League don't give up on us, do they?

Once again, they don't care about the team or the supporters – just the TV viewers. Another example of the Premier League screwing Everton.

Wednesday 24 April at 8 pm, and whenever the final outcome of this saga is to be revealed.
I don't want Klopp, to get out of this city, after never losing to Everton, but I'd definitely be prepared to let this happen, just as long as Everton get good owners.
