Coby Ebere was clipped as he drove into the Cardiff penalty area and he then converted the penalty with just 8 minutes on the clock. But the Young Blues were exposed on a simple ball through the middle by Aaron Ramsey and their centre[forward had a far too simple job to lift it over the advancing Barnsley. Everton restored the lead after nice interplay down the wing but it was cleared to Callum Bates who made no mistake from the edge of the box. And the home side equalised when Barnsley was beaten again in the second half. The home side then turned the game around when a substitute came on and scored with almost his first intervention to win the game.
