At a glance it contains :
8 strikers
8 midfielders
3 players who can play fullback
1 winger
2 centre backs and
1 goalkeeper
I know a lot on this list are a result of lazy journalism and the club in the past has usually played its cards close to its chest but it does give cause for thought, because in my humble opinion our main needs this summer are for a whole new right side to the team.
This would include:
A right back
Pacy right winger
Possibly a creative right sided midfielder
Striker
Back up centre back
Back up goalkeeper
So Id say that we are looking at 6 or 7 signings at least across all positions.
In this respect it is difficult to take the above list too seriously given how out of balance it appears.
Although I am aware that some of the players listed generically as strikers or midfielders can play a number of roles, I can only hope that the breakdown of that list is not representative of the clubs priorities as a whole.
Ah well, too much thinking for a Sunday so back to a beer and a snooze!!

According to an early fixture leak, Everton are reportedly set to open the 2025/26 campaign at home to Crystal Palace.
The weekend of 8 November is set to host a landmark occasion, the first-ever Merseyside Derby at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. The reverse fixture at Analfield is scheduled for the weekend of 21 February
Can't beat speculation and guesswork

To anyone not familiar with Liverpool, they would have no idea this is Everton's stadium… anybody else noticed this?
17 Posted 21/06/2025 at 15:09:26
But it seemed to disappear quite soon after. Maybe it was removed because of planning regs?
18 Posted 21/06/2025 at 19:19:24
And I mean those who gave played in the first team, not gems in the under 20+ that are so well hidden no one knows where they are. Just how many signings do we need?
19 Posted 21/06/2025 at 19:25:45
Apparently if the team are playing in Europe then the ground has to use the name of the club because of Uefa regulations. So I would presume that Everton will have to be displayed somewhere on the stadium.

Let's try'n not to whinge over every little thing.

26 Posted 21/06/2025 at 20:20:10
So you think wondering if we are actually going to have the club's name on a billion-pound stadium is whinging?
Jeeees, and here is me going to query, if we can squirt our own (named) mayonnaise on the burgers.
27 Posted 21/06/2025 at 20:27:03
People on here do love a good whinge, some seem to actually look for reasons to do so.
28 Posted 21/06/2025 at 20:31:08
You wouldnt know whos home it is, perhaps the Marlins just play there.
Far to big a venue for them, gets full when a concert is on !
BMD needs EFC,s name and crests on it.

Amazing the amount of Evertonians happy to call it the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
31 Posted 21/06/2025 at 21:01:27
We did at GP. Man Utd do. City do. The RS do? None of their grounds have the club name in the title, but they all have specific branding.

On the stadium name, I'm not particularly fussed. Financially, it's one of the largest financial stadium rights deal in Europe. So if we have to have their name on the stadium, we are getting paid very well for it.
I agree though, Everton should appear somewhere. Maybe replicate the crests on the Main Stand and Bullens Road at Goodison?
For me, I refer to it as the Everton Stadium. That's what the club were doing pre-sponsorship and what was on the tickets for the event matches.
40 Posted 22/06/2025 at 11:38:52
If you look at the Everton Way, where all our beautiful names are set in stone, the name 'Everton' is spelt out perfectly.
I agree, a huge sign with our club name should be put up facing the river so everyone knows who we are as they sail past.
42 Posted 22/06/2025 at 11:50:36
Certainly there are some very talented South Americans and as their club sides are showing they are a match for the European sides.

Never, Paul, mayonnaise does not belong anywhere near burgers.
