Everton Reserves 2 - 2 Bolton Wanderers Reserves
On his way back from injury, Leon Osman scored Everton's second goal in a 2 - 2 draw with Bolton Wanderers after Magaye Gueye scored earlier and João Silva was sent off. Francisco Junior made his first appearance in a Blue shirt after joining Everton as a free agent, and James McFadden got a decent run-out while Jack Rodwell continued his recovery from injury, playing 65 mins.

Everton were 1 up after after 4 mins - McFadden played in Silva down the right and the striker pulled the ball back for Gueye to smash home. And Everton were 2 - 0 up at half-time thanks to Osman.

McAleny replaced Osman after the break and Bolton got one back on the hour when Liam Irwin beat Marcus Hahnemann with a stunning free kick.

On 72 mins a straight card for Silva. The striker jumped with Eckersley and was adjudged to lead with his elbow. Eckersley's face was bloodied and he didn't return to the pitch. Bolton were down to 10 after having made all their subs.

Riley cut inside Touray and fired low past Hahnemann with just two minutes of the 90 remaining to grab a point for the Trotters.

Everton Reserves: Hahnemann; Browning, Touray, Junior, Weir; Dier, McFadden (68' Orenuga), Rodwell (65' Lundstram); Osman (46' McAleny), Silva (72' Red Card), Gueye.
Subs: Davies, Hope.
