Under the tagline "The split was probably best for all parties..." this piece suggests that there were some rumblings about Aznou’s attitude and work ethic  — particularly on Bayern Munich’s Club World Cup trip — that might have pushed the club over the edge in determining to get rid of the young left-back.

Time will tell if Aznou’s rumoured effort to force his way out of Bayern Munich will benefit him, but he has to get healthy first. Aznou played 81 minutes for Everton's U21s in their 2-1 loss to Doncaster on Tuesday.

(Its OK folks. Michael and I disagree about the use of the apostrophe in the possessive article so just another chance to wind him up)

Good one, Phill, it's a fair cop.

Error now corrected.

Although it's not the apostrophe that's the issue — it's adding the last letter s in the possessive form where the name is not a plural, but ends in s, as in Moyes's Boyz.

If Moyes was the plural of something, then Moyes' Boyz would be correct.

But Moyes is a singular entity (as far as we know) and so it gets the apostrophe and the letter s in possessive form — and that fits with how we say it too (or most of us).

Michael, given what some people in this country are saying about 2 tier justice then should we not be retiring the phrase Fair cop?
Love how some have jumped on "5 armed officers arrested Linehan yesterday". They worked at Heathrow so are armed all the time (probably). Can't believe they tooled up just to arrest him off the plane but still a good headline. Glad we still have freedom of speech on ToffeeWeb.

Thankfully it is with a C not a K otherwise that word should be banned from this website!
