representatives saw action in Estonia today as the Young Lions beat Serbia 2-1 to take a commanding lead in Group B of the European Championships and simultaneously secure a place in next summer's U20 World Cup.

Ross Barkley and Luke Garbutt started the game as England roared into a 2-0 lead by the 63rd minute thanks to goals by Benik Afobe and Nathan Redmond, at which point John Lundstram replaced his Blues teammate Barkley.

Hallam Hope would also feature later on, replacing Harry Kane in the 79th minute, as the Young Lions survived late pressure after the Serbs pulled a goal back with 20 minutes remaining.

Good to see young blues doing well. I hope they can soon be in the first-team squad.
