So basically take this with a pinch of salt as it will probably fall through.

Get the game and bribe the team we play to make sure we win. If we beat AC or Madrid in front of millions of people who are undecided about their footy club it would be worth untold money. That's what a real CEO would do.

I hope he asked Chang why there's no pictures of the Everton players on their cans of beer, only Barcelona and Real Madrid.

At least with a connection to those 2 maybe it will be one of them that we get to play?

Real Madrid? I seem to remember we were on the receiving end of a 6-1 drubbing in 1987 (ish).......a repeat of that wouldn't do our reputation much good in Thailand.

Good point Eric.

As I recall, if one is leaving Bangkok on one of the main roads there's a mamoth sized Singha advert that adorns the whole side of a very tall building that has artwork showing Drogba and Anelka and other Chelsea players

I've also seen the entire length of a BTS train in Bangkok have Man U artwork of players and Logo over the carriages.

I can't say that in my travels in LOS I've ever seen a single Everton & chang related advert

Unless we get our wish and get rid of him and BK...

Andrew, during the World Cup they had pictures of Pienaar around Bangkok in his Everton shirt.

That's the only promotion I've seen except in the Chang Sports Bars where they used to give out Everton freebies.

Given the money the billionaire owner of Chang is splashing about these days maybe he could be persuaded to put some more into sponsorship?
