By the lack of comments I presume I am not alone in that.Senegal seemed a decent side (mainly in the second half and relative to GB team) so it is good that he is getting a game for them. Can't remember him making much of an impact however; hopefully he will be positively affected by the whole experience. Jeff Beaumont 2 Posted 28/07/2012 at 19:05:31 Came on after about an hour. Can't remember him touching the ball. Phil Sammon 3 Posted 29/07/2012 at 02:45:23 Barely touched the ball. Tried to start a fight with Taylor in defence of one of the worst tackles I've ever seen...albeit on Craig Bellamy. Steve Cotton 4 Posted 29/07/2012 at 12:29:13 I thought the Senegal team were pretty skillful but would have been lucky to finish the game with 8 men let alone 11.Perhaps Olympic footy is based on 1970s "have it!!" football that we all remember fondly. Was the ref a professional referee or was he drafted in from the Karate tournament??
