Season › 2012-13 › News Donovan set to re-evalute his plans Michael Kenrick , 15 August, 3comments | Jump to most recent Landon Donovan hasn't decided yet what he will be doing when his contract with MLS at LA Galaxy expires next year. Incredibly, this has been spun to mean he is planning to hang up his boots. "At the end of this season, I'm going to re-evaluate everything and see how I feel," he revealed to Goal.com. "If I want to keep playing, I'll keep playing. If I don't want to keep playing, I won't keep playing. "If I want to go elsewhere, I'll try to make that happen. If I want to stay here, I'll try to make that happen. I don't know the answer to that right now." Disclaimer Dave Roberts 1 Posted 15/08/2012 at 15:05:44 I appreciate he is knocking on a bit now but he could do a job for us on an annual contract basis. Perhaps the club should be helping him to make up his mind, especially as it will cost us nothing. I think i'st possible that is what he is waiting for! Steve Smith 2 Posted 15/08/2012 at 16:17:10 This is a regurgitated interview from a few months ago, what he was really saying in the interview was that, he feels he needs a new challenge in order to keep up his enthusiasm for the game, in my eyes it was a clear come and get me please, aimed directly at Everton, stating also in his interview how much more knowledgeable our support is in comparison to US supporters {although he was very respectful in the way that he said it} and sort of hinted that MLS should do him a favour if an offer came along, about releasing him from his contract. If I can find the interview again I'll post a link on here. Brian Bates 3 Posted 15/08/2012 at 20:20:44 He's just heard Kev Johnsons coming here, so decided to retire. (can't compete with KJ!)
