Hibbo would have been good against Stoke, West Ham & Chelsea. Tony Cheek 4 Posted 14/12/2012 at 19:43:41 Bad news... not our most talented admittedly, but this just reduces our options. In fact I have grown to like Hibbo, never lets us down and puts in bleeding good crosses. Hardly ever gives the ball away either. I think the reason he is not popular is because he always chooses the easy pass rather than take a chance, not a bad quality, just bleeding boring.... but the brilliant "Hibbo moment" at Goodison on his testimonial will be remembered by all of us! ...here's to a quick recovery! John Crook 5 Posted 14/12/2012 at 19:57:34 With Neville not back until end of January (I think it's the end of January?) then this pretty much guarantees Coleman the right back spot for 7 or 8 games. That's an awful lot of football in the space of a month. Only other realistic right back option in the squad in Jagielka who is 1st choice centre half. Fingers crossed that he stays clear of injuries and he doesn't suffer and Reading away like performances. On the positive side this is a massive chance for Coleman to show Moyes and the fans that he can be the long term right back for club. Going forward he's great, his apprenticeship on right mid has served him well. Defensively he's still got a lot of work to do but that will only come with a consistent run of games. Saying that he was excellent defensively against spurs. Even without Bale spurs have a very strong squad. Good luck Seamus.
