Jack Rodwell has left nothing to chance as he seeks to bounce back from the hamstring problems that have blighted him since his move from Everton. The 21-year-old Man City midfielder has moved house, swapped his car, started yoga lessons and even changed his pillow in a bid to get to grips with a problem which has repeatedly interrupted his career.

He has 'changed his pillow '- it won't be long now before the future England Captain lives up to the hype then.

Is that to stop the splinters from going into his arse on the bench?

Rodwell should have a word with Michael Owen about hamstring problems. That have not gone away with other problems over 10 years ago.

Always thought it wasn't a bad move for us finacially but a bad move for him career wise.

I can never see him making it in the holding position. He can rarely see a forward pass and looks an immature bag of nerves. For us and for England he impressed when brought on to push for a goal.

Looks like we got rid at the right time. I still can't believe how he got hyped up so much to play for England and get the money we got for him.

He chose money over his boyhood club and became a glory seeker, I lose all sympathy for the lad.

It means he's been seeing a chiropractor and they've found a problem with his posture, caused by misaligned spine or simply bad habits. The hammy is compensating for other areas of the body. Wouldn't be surprised if he needs orthopedics too. Or his woman kicked him out and sleeping on the sofa.

Just a thought but maybe these multi-millionaire footballers Rodwell, Cole, Owen to name a few are too rich and comfortable to bother playing and training out in the cold? Maybe it's easier to sit on the sidelines picking up £60,000 a week...

If pay was stopped for injury, as it is for most of us workers, I wonder how quick these players would return to the team.

Not sure about that Ian, #482, I never heard of Rodwell asking for a move like Rooney/Lescott etc. Rather, a club came in and made an offer that represented a good deal for Everton. I have no hard feelings towards him, and actually wish him well in his career.
