Season › 2012-13 › News Lundstram's Doncaster win League One Michael Kenrick , 27 April, 5comments | Jump to most recent The League One title was won by Doncaster at Brentford this afternoon, with Everton's John Lundstram coming off after an hour and a yellow card, while his Blues Academy loan partner Jake Bidwell on the home side must go to the play-offs. Brentford seemed set to seal promotion with a late penalty in added time but they somehow contrived to hit the bottom of the bar for a massive goalmouth scramble that resulted in Doncaster galloping up the other end to score a late, late winner that gave them the League One title. John Gee 2 Posted 27/04/2013 at 21:15:45 Many congratulations to Doncaster but you've got to feel for the Brentford players and fans. That must be devastating. Gavin Ramejkis 3 Posted 27/04/2013 at 21:22:35 A crazy result, apparently Brentford missed the pen which would have promoted them only for Doncaster to run straight up the pitch and score the winner Stuart O'Malley 4 Posted 28/04/2013 at 04:18:59 How has lundstrum played for doncaster since he has been there?
