Bidwell loan extended until the end of the season

Everton have permitted Brentford to extend Jake Bidwell's loan at the London side until the end of season so that he is available to play in the League One playoff final at Wembley later this month.

The 20 year-old left back initially joined the Bees in a one-month deal back in August but has stayed with them on a rolling basis since then.

He now has the opportunity to complete the work he started by helping Brentford into the Championship with victory over Yeovil on 19th May.

Good luck Jake. Hopefully, Brentford will move up, reflecting your own rise in the game. Hate saying it as a fan, but there likely will be an LB spot opening up with Everton soon.

Good luck Jake. Win or lose, it's a great thing to be part of in your growth as a player. Here's an article by Sam Allardyce about how to handle it (he basically says: it's normal to feel tense but relax as much as you can): http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/sport-comment/sam-allardyce-nothing-can-compare-to-winning-the-120m-game-not-even-lifting-the-champions-league-trophy-8610530.html

And Jake, whenever you read the endless comments about our youngsters not getting a chance with the first team? Ignore the hours gone by and only 6 posts to this thread.

Me, Jonathan, Kevin, Paul, and Brendan hope you're a part of Everton's future.

Baines is leaving. So, no excuses youngster. LB is a position you can challenge for.

Remember, a couple years ago Coleman was a non-entity when signed. A mocked one. Look at him now.

Baines himself, Club supporters weren't jumping up and down delighted at his signing.

Work hard and get into the Side.
