Season › 2013-14 › News Pienaar and Alcaraz could be back for Hull , 11 October, 0comments | Jump to most recent Steven Pienaar and Antolin Alcaraz have a chance of being in contention for next weekend's clash with Hull at Goodison Park as they continue their recoveries from injury. Roberto Martinez told evertonfc.com that the South African will be given every chance of proving his fitness after not featuring for Everton since picking up a hamstring injury in training before last month's win over Chelsea: "Stevie has reacted really well to treatment and he is progressing extremely well. "We are very excited to see how Stevie copes with training and see how quickly he can get back to normal fitness. Alcaraz, meanwhile, saw his bid to return to first-team action following hernia surgery in August scuppered by a hamstring strain of his own but he is making similarly good progress, though his manager admitted that it's unlikely he will be ready for the Tigers' visit. "Antolin Alcaraz has had a very good period as well," Martinez said, 'so, all in all, those two have benefited enormously from this international break. "We don't want to put a date on it. We are very much seeing their reaction and seeing how quickly they can take the workload on. "In medical terms, they shouldn't be fit for Hull, but I would not say they cannot make it."
