Nilesh Pandey asks whether Everton are primed to finally crack the glass ceiling.
It should be remembered that [Bill Kenwright] is an Everton supporter through and through and won’t want to sell his club to someone that will end up damaging them. There are numerous examples around the country which show the danger of selling out to the highest foreign bidder, and in a way Evertonians should be glad that Kenwright has their best interests at heart.

However, with an exciting manager on board and clubs around them in need of a potential rebuild, you get the feeling that the next few years are a huge opportunity for Everton to finally crack through the glass ceiling and establish themselves higher up the table. For that to happen, though, a cash injection needs to come sooner rather than later.
