A fair assessment of where the club is headed and the need for action by the present regime, which has allowed us to fall from grace ever so slowly and without most people noticing. The board would IÂ’m sure concur with this reply and perhaps that is why we are in the position we now find ourselves in.

agree with what ur saying how ever we have progressed from 95 in to club that doesn't have to sell its players and challenges from Europe. 3 record signings a champions league place and most ever points total in recent years is reasons to believe we are a sleeping giant. modern day footie is completely different to the good old days I for one am proud to say we are skint but are still boss and have the best following in the league. no matter who comes and goes we are always Everton wanting more and expecting better. coyb

I’ve little doubt that this particular comment was heart-felt and is rational but it says ever so much about Everton’s predicament and how the fan-base as a whole has bought into the inactions of the owners and if that is all it takes to satisfy the majority then the current regime has little requirement to alter the way it runs the club – very sad in my opinion, but such is life and football.
