By coincidence, he’s also the first winner of my own personal CONSTAGAFFE award. Won it hands down (or hands flapping slightly above his head in an old Black & White Minstrel ’shoooow time Mama’ manner).

Come on, Yanks – bring Tim home.

I hope his speech mentions how it wouldn’t have been possible to showcase his shot stopping skills without his defenders in front of him and keeps a straight face when he says "especially John Stones".

Keep it up, Tim, and continue to prove the experts on TW wrong.

The single game he played for the US in 2015, as the only eligible performance for the award, must have been amazing.

Not sure about the experts on ToffeeWeb. But if he continues to keep it up, I'm just glad he's not going to be playing in the cup games.

Been a decent servant, but I just don't think he's at the required standard anymore, so hopefully an award like this can pave the way for Tim, to return home, and finish his playing days in a league more suited to his present level.

How'd the English fare against Costa Rica (CONCACAF team, cough-cough)?

Of the four teams in CONCACAF three went through to the knock-out stage in WC 2014 - pipping the UEFA countries of Croatia, Spain, Italy, ENGLAND, Bosnia, Portugal, and Russia to the knock-out stage.

European soccer is so overrated. Two to three "good" countries and a host of patty-cake crap sides. Diving ninnies (read men with vaginas) who play the game horrendously light-weight. I believe the French might say "POO-SW-AH" (translation = pussy). And the English are "hard" players - HA!!!

Take a trip to 100 degree Mexico City where the players play like they actually have male parts.

David, the amount of unpaid loans Madrid owes to the banks is nothing short of disgraceful. FIFA and UEFA have been aware of this for years but as Madrid have royal patronage everyone keeps quiet. The day the banks ask for their money back is the day Real Madrid folds.

As for Howard winning the award. He took a year off so having only been in the squad for three games and having played in one game not sure how he wins it. This is especially true since his club didn't do so well either. It might have been fixed but who else would win it? Guzan? As for the claims of CONCACAF being corrupt, aren't you lot part of UEFA?
