Everton Under-21s defender Bradley Moonan has signed his first professional contract, agreeing to a 2-year deal that will run through until the end of June 2026.

The 18-year-old centre-back joined the club as an Under-8, progressing through the ranks of the Academy, before debuting for Everton Under-21s during the 2023-24 season.

Moonan – a lifelong Evertonian – featured in 21 league games for the Under-18s last season, while also recording eight Premier League 2 appearances with the Under-21s.

After signing his first professional deal, he told evertontv: “My whole family are Everton born and bred so it’s a massive achievement to sign a professional contract at this club.

Good look to the young lad. I wish him the best. Hopefully with Everton, but but if not then a career in professional football.

Good luck blue boy. Most of us us dream it, but very few get to realise it
