Everton have confirmed a deal that will see the world’s biggest energy drink company, Red Bull, become the Club’s new ‘Official Energy Drink Partner’.

As part of the multi-year agreement, Red Bull will benefit from the opportunity to promote their brand globally across the Club’s physical and online channels.

Their distinctive branding will be visible across bottle carriers, bottle coolers and ice boxes at Everton’s Finch Farm training complex, as well as at home and away fixtures. Supporters will also see the brand on the big screen and on pitchside LEDs at Goodison Park and, from the 2025/26 season, at Everton’s new waterfront home at Bramley-Moore Dock.

Richard Kenyon, Everton’s Chief Commercial and Communications Officer, said: “We are excited to welcome Red Bull into our partnership portfolio and are really pleased that such a globally renowned and innovative brand has chosen to partner with Everton.

“By committing to a long-term partnership, we have the opportunity to work together to explore exciting initiatives and activations, particularly from when we move into our new stadium next summer.

"This agreement is the latest the Club has secured in recent months and is testament to the dedication and talent within our Partnerships team. I’d like to thank everyone at Everton, and at Red Bull, who has been involved in getting this long-term deal completed ahead of what will be a historic period for the Club.”

Red Bull, originally launched in 1987, has grown to become the world’s best-selling energy drink, with a total of 12.1 billion cans sold globally in 2023. The partnership with Everton further extends Red Bull’s sporting portfolio, which includes agreements in football, Formula 1 and rugby, as well as individual sponsorship of athletes, artists and creatives.

The long-term partnership, a Club record in its category, follows new commercial deals announced by Everton earlier this summer with HPE Aruba, Castore and Aramark. Meanwhile Christopher Ward extended their existing agreement to become a Founding Partner of Everton Stadium and the Club’s Official Shirt Sleeve Partner.

Wonder if we'll end up being RB Everton in a couple of years

What's in it for us? I don't suppose they have to tell us but it would be nice to know.

Kenyon is giving us the usual business spiel about how wonderful the 'team' are.

I expect we will form part of a club network at some point. Could do a lot worse than RB although I think they're now involved at Leeds.

City and Brighton already work in this way. Very logical approach even if a bit grubby for traditionalists.

Like them or loathe them, at least we've got some sponsorship from a company people are familiar with. Whatever it's worth.

They haven't done too bad with Salzburg and Leipzig, so this should be viewed as a positive.

Just don't name the stadium "Red Bull"!!!

Although everyone hates RB Leipzig in Germany, but for very specific reasons.

Paul H, how do you think I feel. I've a new car on order and it's Red. It was the only solid colour, metalic etc another £750. It's more or a ruby red at least, but still not 100% happy,

"Gives you wings" according to the advert…

So a new winger or two, on the cards?

Will there be a special promo product: Blue Bull? Maybe, when we're European Champions!

It might be fizzy caffeinated piss but it's successful fizzy caffeinated piss so I'll happily take their money.

Welcome onboard, Red Bull.

Joe @8.

My wife, when getting her latest car, wanted a red one. I told her I wouldn't get in it if she bought it.

Childish I know, but it worked. She now has a sky blue one.

Now I could handle the Blue Bull Stadium, Dennis, if we have to go for naming rights.

Given that I have an ageing memory, but didn't we force the club to change the colours or NEC as it was red in the match day programme?

Danny - I thought that was one to one?

On the NEC theme, my favourite sight when arriving at Euston in the '80s was that massive advert with Inchy in the NEC kit when we were Champions.

Later replaced by the groundsman at Goodison with the FA Cup in 1995.

I remember a few years back, ordering a new Ford car, and the dealer said a red car would be about £30 a month cheaper than any other colour.

I told him to fuck off!

Red Bull is called Red Bull because it was inspired by a Thai drink called Krating Daeng.

Krating is a large cow native to India, and Daeng means 'red' in Thai so if you prefer you can call it Krating Daeng so as to avoid using the word red.

There, I fixed it for you.

The greatest player ever to wear a red shirt?...

Big Nev... 1985 European Cup-Winners Cup Final.

There's a boss tee-shirt that says as much out there already!

Fans are seeing Red because of all the Bull —— so vey apt.

There was not red on the one-to-one shirts Mark, just that awful one when Matarazzi played for us that wasn't even royal blue.

Billy, every time I watch the footage of our only European triumph, it makes me sad that Neville Southall was made to wear a red shirt.

Good man, Rob. I've never let my wife buy us a red car and my son's current one is bright royal blue!

'A record-breaking deal.'

But then you read down, 'sources say the deal is a record-breaking one for the club'.

That's not quite the same effing thing, is it???

I'm going to refer to those over the park as "Daeng Dung" from now on.

I don't mind Everton using red at all, we wore a sort of claret red with a light blue trim shirt, in our final season at Anfield.

In our first season at Goodison, we wore a sky blue top and continued to wear that until 1901, when we adopted the more familiar Royal Blue top.

"Daeng Dung" wore a sky blue and white half-and-half shirt with Navy shorts and socks in their first year of existence.

Not the Blue Bull Stadium, please, Danny.

That could be used against us in so many ways.

At least it's a recognised global brand.

Hopefully there's more commercial deals for Everton, to come.
