Everton fixtures in May 2024

Everton could yet head into the final few weeks of the 2023/24 season with their Premier League future still firmly up in the air.

Luton Town (A) – May 3

Everton’s victory over Forest moved them five points clear of 18th placed Luton, but the picture would change dramatically if they are defeated at Kenilworth Road.

The Toffees can ill-afford any slip-ups against Wilder’s side, particularly given their final fixture of the season is against a team who could still be in title contention.

Arsenal (H) – May 19

Arsenal have historically dominated the head-to-head with Everton, although results in recent seasons have not always gone their way.

Everton have won five and drawn one of their last ten meetings with the Gunners - a record which should give them confidence heading into the clash at the Emirates Stadium.

However, Arsenal have won their last two matches against Everton without conceding a goal and will fancy their chances of collecting another victory here.

They could still be in the running to win the title when this game comes around, although they need Manchester City to slip up somewhere before the final weekend.

This game could take on greater significance if Everton still need points to avoid relegation, but Dyche will be hoping they have secured safety before then.

Avoiding the drop would be a remarkable achievement given the adversity Everton have faced this season. They will hopefully have something to celebrate on May 19.
