Season › 2011-12 › News Three points crucial for Moyes Michael Kenrick , 19 November, 3comments | Jump to most recent David Moyes says a win today, and the 3 points that lift Everton away from the relegation zone, were crucial — despite continuing struggles to really deliver in the final third. He said: "It was a crucial win and the points were vital for us. We had a few chances, not loads of chances but we had a few and the ones we did get we didn't finish off. "I didn't think we deserved to be down at the end of the first half, we got a lot of crosses into the box and if anyone looked likely it was us. But we didn't get people in the box and we didn't get people on the end of things. "The boys at the back stuck at it, Leon Osman had a really good game in midfield and Marouane Fellaini as well. "We just didn't seem to have enough to get out of sight. I can't remember a chance Wolves had against us. The game was tight and in the end two set pieces, if you like, won it. I think we deserved to win."
