Season › 2011-12 › News Moyes keen to keep hold of Cahill Lyndon Lloyd , 23 May, 46comments | Jump to most recent David Moyes sees Tim Cahill as a key component in his team and if his comments prior to the win over Newcastle are any indication, he won't be in any hurry to let the Australian go amid speculation that Saudi club Al Nassr could make a bid for his services. For the first time since joining the Blues from Millwall in 2004, Cahill struggled for form and goals at times this season, leading some to wonder if he would either seek a new challenge elsewhere. Press speculation this week suggests that uber-wealthy Al Nassr are keen to capitalise on the 32-year-old's profile in Asia by tempting him with big money to play in the Middle East but prising him away from Moyes won't be easy. ?He's fit, he's athletic, he can do several jobs for us,? said Moyes earlier this month. ?There'll be a time when we have to move on and that will evolve, but not at the moment. ?I think he's still got a two or three-year contract and he'll still be a big part of what we do.?
