Blues advance in Youth Cup

Everton Under-18s travelled to Sheffield United in the FA Youth Cup this evening and progressed to a quarter-final date at Charton or Arsenal thanks to a 2-0 win.

Courtney Duffus put the young Blues ahead towards the end of the first half and a penalty from Gethin Jones sealed the win shortly after half time.

Everton: Griffiths; Jones, Thorniley (78' Connolly), Graham, Langton; Williams, Dyson (72' Donohue), Ledson (89' Shannon); C Duffus, T Duffus, Charsley.
Subs not Used: Hewelt, Brewster.
