Arsenal cup date and allocation set

updated Everton's FA Cup Quarter Final against Arsenal will kick off at 12:45pm on Saturday 8th March with live screening on ITV, the club have announced.

Arsenal have designated the game a Category B game with ticket prices as follows: Adults £35.50; Senior Citizens £15.50; U16's £10. Tickets go on sale on Friday.

Everton's final allocation is much-reduced from the 9,000 recommendation after Arsenal's Safety Advisory Group determined that just 5,186 tickets will be made available.

Their SAG, which is made up of representatives from the club, local authority, police and transport cited "fears over safety issues from persistent standing and the use of smoke bombs/pyrotechnics" from Blues fans in the upper tiers of the Emirates stadium.

For their part, Everton explain on evertonfc.com that, they did "raise objections with both the Football Association and Arsenal over the number of tickets being made available but the advisory group makes the final decision on allocations."
