Season › 2013-14 › News Traore to undergo more tests Lyndon Lloyd , 28 February, 0comments | Jump to most recent Everton expect to learn more on the treatment options open to Lacina Traore within the next week, with the Ivory Coast international set to see specialists in London and Paris to assess the extent of his hamstring injury. The striker injured himself in the warm-up before last weekend's match at Chelsea and had to be withdrawn from the starting line-up just 15 minutes before kick-off. Everton's medical staff have made a preliminary assessment of the 23year-old's soft tissue tear but, in tandem with his parent club Monaco, the club are sending him for a more detailed examination to see whether he will require surgery to repair the damage. In that instance, Roberto Martinez has admitted that his loan will be void and he will return to France for the operation and subsequent rehabilitation. "We have been working closely with Monaco to ensure we get the best possible treatment on the injury," Martinez said. "He will now see two specialists next week — one in London and one in Paris. Then we will make the final decision with the parent club. "If Lacina will be fit by the end of the season, then we will see him in an Everton shirt again, and that is what we are all aiming for."
