Lee Carsley applauds the Everton's ability to keep hold of his its best players as a means to moving the club forward.

Why write an article about Everton holding on to key players with three weeks of the transfer window still to go? Something of the Murray Walker about this sort of commentary.

If we have all our current top players on our books come September 2nd, especially with a rebuilding Man Utd, then it can be declared a successful transfer window. And yes, a fantastic model for other clubs to follow.
