Two days left to vote for Everton Fans' Forum

Time is running out for supporters to have their say on who should become the next six members of the Everton Fans' Forum.

Blues are being asked to select their favourites from a shortlist of 12 applicants, with the six who receive the highest number of votes before the closing date of Friday 12 December set to join the Forum from January 2015.

The vote, which is being independently co-ordinated by Electoral Reform Services, is open to all supporters with a customer number and purchase history.

The final 12 were chosen from hundreds of applicants following a recent review of the Fans' Forum, its structure and its role.

Richard Kenyon, Everton's Director of Marketing and Communications, said: "The Club and the Forum have worked hard this year to review the Forum and look at the best way to build on its successes to date.

"This has included allowing the wider fan base to have their say via a survey and numerous consultations to help us shape how the Forum is comprised.

"We have been pleased with the response we have received and I would like to thank every supporter who showed an interest in becoming part of the Forum.

"As a result of the volume and quality of the applicants, the Club and the Forum are now going to offer those supporters who didn't get shortlisted the chance to become the first members of a newly-designed online fans' panel, which will be launched in the New Year.

"This online panel will be further expanded, allowing more fans, including those from outside the region, to have an input into their Club."

The profiles of the 12 applicants up for election can be viewed online and the six successful applicants will be announced via evertonfc.com on Tuesday 16 December.

"The Fans' Forum has grown from strength to strength over the past few seasons, culminating in us taking on an even greater role in a number of Club projects throughout this year," said Fans' Forum chairman Tony Bott. "We now look forward to seeing the new-look Forum take shape and building on the work carried out so far.

"We'd encourage all supporters to vote for our new members and have their say on the Evertonians they wish to represent them and their fellow Blues going forward."

How many members of BU or KEIOC are standing or did the Club block their applications?
