Polish-born Hewelt, helped David Unsworth's Under-21s to a 2-0 win over West Ham in midweek, and has set his sights on a start in Wednesday's game under the floodlights at Goodison Park. He told EvertonTV: “It's great to have a chance with the Under-21s and I feel like I have performed well in both games I have been involved with so far, so hopefully I have a chance of fighting for that spot. “To get the win and the clean sheet [against West Ham Under-21s] made it a brilliant night — it doesn't get any better than that for a goalkeeper. It's at Goodison, which adds to the occasion and it's a great opportunity for us to show what we can do in front of the staff and the fans. “Winning the Under-18 Premier League last year was a great experience.
