Bastards! I had booked a holiday in Spain and chose to fly out on the Sunday so that I could go the game. Now, to satisfy those charlatans at Sky, I'll miss yet another game for which I have a ticket.... I much preferred football before Sky came along...

I'm intrigued as to why Champions League fixtures should have any effect on Swansea vs Everton?

It's a good question, Andrew. But the concept is so annoying, I threw most of my toys out the pram without delving any further. Sorry!

Good question Andrew, as apart from Arsenal (who are listed for the televised 5:30 game) the other team perhaps left in the Champions League, Chelsea, are already playing Sunday in the live televised game too?????

I suppose Chelsea's game may be moved to Saturday and ours onto Sunday.

So the first leg of the CL quarterfinals begin on Tuesday 14th April, so I guess if anybody is still in it and due to play that day and scheduled to play on Sky on Sunday they will be pushed back 24hrs and swapped with us. At least they have 3 weeks from the draw to sort this. Don't make your travel arrangements too early if you are going to Swansea.

Our posts crossed, Tony. Certainly looks like we will be the sacrificial lambs for the poor CL clubs.

Jim, nobody likes a smug get! ;-)

Helen, sorry love, I usually let my mate in the next seat have my season ticket for his lad when I have to miss a game (at less than face value, by the way).

Your generosity to your seat mate is commendable to say the least, Ray, and so typical of Evertonians.

Bollocks! Thought I'd catch the Man Utd game, now I'll be on a plane without internet connection instead. Last time this happened was the Arsenal game last April, though, so a similar result would be most welcome...
