Disclaimer Derek Knox 1 Posted 30/07/2014 at 23:39:52 It's always encouraging to see the players giving something to those less fortunate.I feel that Ossie realises this, and is just not doing it for any other reason than genuine compassion and consideration. Trevor Powell 2 Posted 31/07/2014 at 09:29:14 I am glad that real Everton players realise that they are very lucky young men. They get paid handsomely for a job they [and we] would love doing.Giving something to the community marks them out as real men, not like the birthday cake moaning mercenaries that infect the game!Well done, Leon [and Tony last year] ..... Eric Holland 3 Posted 31/07/2014 at 09:37:19 I will be there. And the proceeds going to a great cause.Well done Leon. Ciaran Duff 4 Posted 31/07/2014 at 10:20:38 Great gesture and it seems that we do a lot of this type of community stuff. Obviously it is great for the kids, family and staff. I also think that this is actually good for the players themselves and helps keep them in touch with reality and everyday people and life.
