Brian Porter 2 Posted 01/10/2015 at 06:18:04 Non-league football isn't exactly the best development ground for the lad if you ask me. Low crowds, no atmosphere, lesser quality of football (all respect to Hyde Utd). He needs to be playing in a more professional environment if he's going to progress further with the club. I'm not sure why we bought the lad to be honest, unless he's seen as the very long-term replacement for Tim or Joel. Then again, how many years will he be prepared to be a loanee/reserve, before the desire for regular competitive football becomes a priority for him? Surely there are teams in League one or two where he could make more impact, or perhaps in the Vanarama League? Harold Matthews 3 Posted 01/10/2015 at 15:32:16 You can't pick and choose, as Alan Stubbs often pointed out. You can only send a player to a coach who wants him. A month with Hyde United will probably do Stanek the world of good.
