Season › 2015-16 › News Hat-trick for Brewster in U18s romp , 8 , 3comments | Jump to most recent Everton Under-18s have opened up a three-point lead clear at the top of the U18s Premier League table following a 4-2 victory over Manchester United on Saturday. Delial Brewster marked his 18th birthday with a hat-trick and Nathan Broadhead scored the other as the young Blues kept up their excellent recent form. Brewster took just seven minutes to find the net from a corner and then doubled the lead after half an hour before United pulled a goal back through Marcus Rashford. Broadhead was on hand to restore the two-goal advantage heading into half-time, however, when he converted Michael Donohue's cross. The visitors refused to lie down, though, and pulled things back 3-2 shortly after the break when Callum Gribbin struck but Brewster responded again a few minutes later by rounding off his hat-trick. Everton U18s: O'Loughlin, Lees, Myers, Yarney, Feeney, Bainbridge, Donohue, Harrington, Brewster, Broadhead, Bramall (Morris). Subs: Jones, Mellen, Kinsella. Disclaimer jack ledwidge 1 Posted 09/11/2015 at 15:54:35 I saw Brewster come on as a second half substitute in a pre-season game in Dublin. My immediate reaction was that he a very good touch for a big lad. He has the presence of a good leader of the centre forward line. He capped off his display with a nice headed winner. Sam Hoare 2 Posted 09/11/2015 at 17:20:24 U18s firing on all cylinders but I'd be happier if the U21s could do the same. That is the level at which consistently good performances will earn you a useful loan move or even first team opportunity.Hopefully the likes of Brewster & Co can keep doing the good things when they step up a level. Brent Stephens 3 Posted 09/11/2015 at 17:28:02 Brewster is knocking a few in for the U18s and seems a very good prospect. I have also watched Donohue for the U21s and has impressed. Hope these two can make the senior grade.
