A very good team all season, then to lose 8-0 at home... did they play a few younger age players in the team? Did they have a couple sent off? Or (the most likely) did they play Howard in goal as an over-age player? Brent Stephens 4 Posted 29/11/2015 at 16:11:51 I guess there was a pitch invasion and the ref added on too much time. Sam Hoare 7 Posted 29/11/2015 at 16:41:09 8-0?! What happened to our future golden generation? Des Farren 8 Posted 29/11/2015 at 17:38:29 I presume Martinez should shoulder the blame. John Raftery 10 Posted 29/11/2015 at 23:23:51 Apart from Broadhead, Lavery and Donohue, I don't recognise any of the names in the team list. So I guess the this team was loaded with scholars. Peter Gorman 11 Posted 30/11/2015 at 01:12:28 Silly kids, results are all important at this level; it is only when you get to play for the seniors that performances are more important than results. Jim Hardin 12 Posted 30/11/2015 at 03:42:20 Dave, it was Robles in goal as a warm up for the midweek. It seems your belief, and that of others, in the player is working wonders. Dave Abrahams 13 Posted 01/12/2015 at 15:32:50 Jim, fair enough, cheap crack at Howard, mostly in jest, but again being honest, it's a long time since I had any belief in Howard; then again, it's Martinez who picks him.
