Season › 2015-16 › News Kevin Kilbane headlines latest Business Club , 23 March, 0comments | Jump to most recent Kevin Kilbane was one of the star guests at the latest Everton Business Club breakfast in Liverpool city centre on Tuesday morning. The former Everton and Republic of Ireland midfielder was joined on the panel by Henry Winter, the Chief Football Writer for The Times with over one million Twitter followers, and Everton’s own Head of Content, Scott McLeod, who has been at the Club for over ten years. Over 100 people from businesses across Merseyside attended the event at Peel Holdings, Princes Dock and listened as the trio discussed the growth of social media over the last decade, it’s effect on the world of football and business and the best way to use digital platforms to engage with customers and promote brands. The event was hosted by evertontv's Darren Griffiths, and he also spoke with the panel about how to control the individual use of social media, how to set the right tone and how to deal with the pitfalls that using it may bring to your business. Article continues below video content For the third event of the 2015/16 season, guests in attendance were given the chance to not only listen to the special guests but also network with other local businesses who all share a love of Everton. The next Everton Business Club, and the last one for this season, will be held on Tuesday 17 May and will focus on commercialising football.
