Two of Everton's matches in September have been rescheduled to accommodate live screening with a third also moved because of European competition.

The trip to Sunderland will now kick off on a Monday at 8pm on 12th September to be shown by Sky Sports.

The visit of Middlesbrough is now set for 5:30pm on 17th September with live coverage on BT Sport.

Meanwhile, the Blues' game at Southampton has been moved to Sunday 27th November with the kick-off time still to be determined due to Saints' commitments in the Europa League.

Well at least the weather may be better in the northeast this time of year.

Excellent – first 3 games are Saturday 3 o'clock. I can't wait.

The Palace game in Oct will be moved but not until after I've booked the hotel, the train and match tickets for me and my boys. T'was ever thus.

Proof more and more that Sky don't give a stuff about the fans. Everton travelling to Sunderland on a Monday night, really?

Sunderland and Boro'; Sigh. What a way to build the Brand.

I'm cancelling Sky and BT and will have to put up with the last slot on MotD.

A billionaire owner, a top European name as new manager, yet both Sky and BT snub our attractive opening fixture despite them showing FIVE live games between them. I'm not sure we are back on the scene yet in the media's eyes.

Agree Colin; criminal.

Anyone else playing Tottenham from the top clubs would have been a certainty for the TV. I notice the RS against Tottenham is on TV; as will the majority of their games as usual which is absurd as they are not and have not been for sometime, an elite club.

Except in brand; which is what it's all about for Sky.

Keep us off the telly, it's usually a jinx, and football was always meant to be at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon!

That's OK if you live on Merseyside Tony' but not when you live in Dublin. I get to maybe 4 or 5 home games a year and the rest I hope to catch on TV.

Still it's likely to be the Setanta game at 3 o'clock over here; so the pub it is.

Fans moaning because we're on telly, others cry-arsing because they feel we're not on enough.

Some people just love to whinge.

Fair enough Liam, I suppose going the game is something a lot of us just take for granted.

I could say it's a chore sometimes, just to prove Ste right, but yesterday's gone, and hopefully Koeman, can bring back the good times.

If he does we will all be happy for a change, even if it means loads of Sunday football, just to suit the TV companies!

Liam,

Sky are showing the Spurs game live in the ROI. Otherwise, I concur, Man City v Sunderland...wow, can't wait. Will just have recovered from the excitement of Hull v Leicester.

Well Tony after 20 years of near total garbage I think we've paid our dues and then some. Time for RK to bring back the good times.

Fingers, toes, everything crossed but I think we're onto a good thing. Even though he's only just joined I think he'll prove to be the best manager we've had in two decades.

Colin (6) has got it sussed. it's now official Ste (10) doesn't know which fence to sit on. If by now you still feel the BBC are not 'anti-Everton' then there is no hope you will ever have a balanced view of life.

Any way, all the best from one blue to another!

It's BT and Sky which has choose what opening games to show live, not the BBC.

Without doubt more paranoid delusions from Cartwright.

The whole reason English football has gone off the scale is due to Sky and BT influence and money. They will always have there own "Sky 4" now changed to "Sky 6" if you can't get to the game for whatever reason then I recommend one of these

Every game last year in perfect quality. Just need a half decent Internet connection.

Sky ruining football and don't care about fans shock.
Where have some people on here been for nearly a quarter of a century?
Bin Sky and BT. all they do is peddle lies and promote and subsidise the likes of the red shite.
Don't follow the braindead. there's nothing worth watching on Sky anyway,

Whatever happens, we will always be last on motd.
