Goalkeeper Louis Gray made a vital last-minute save and Baningime followed up with a block to preserve the lead. The Blues will face the winner of Celtic and Real Sociedad on Saturday at Ballymena Showgrounds. He was sent off very early playing for Yeovil at the end of last season and booked a few times for them as well; he seems to let older players wind him up too easily. The U21s will be playing approx 500 yards from me on Saturday then. Will give me a chance to see a few of them first hand. Had a lot of defending to do after sending off. Not a great challenge from young Walsh – over-the-top tackle. Red card was the correct decision. Played wide first half, second half down the middle and caused them problems until the sending off. Then had to change tactics.
