The former Bolton Wanderers player leaves a director of football role at Fleetwood Town to take up the position with the Blues. Steinsson was signed for AZ Alkmaar in 2006 by Brands so the pair are well acquainted. Martin Glover has been named Chief UK scout. After all, we've had youngsters from as far away as USA and Australia going as far back as Dennis Yeager and, I believe, Charlie Perkins.
