Timed to take place ahead of matchday, fans will be able to share in the anticipation as the stadium prepares for a game, before being part of the crowd watching the action the next day. The first Legends Tour and Match Ticket package takes place on Friday 16 August and includes a ticket for Everton's first home game of the season against Watford the following day. The Legends Tour is also available without a matchday ticket. Fans on the tours will be well looked after — in May the Goodison Stadium Tour was named the Most Hospitable Sports Stadium Tour (North-West England) in the Family & Visitor Attraction Awards run by LUX Life magazine. For guests with accessibility needs, all tours have an alternative accessible route and customers are advised to contact the Club ahead of their tour to ensure their experience is fully catered for. Contact details can be found on the Tours' pages of the Club's website. The Goodison tour has also been awarded a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor and a glowing Visit England report, where assessors drew attention to “very high standards of guiding and impressive levels of knowledge” and praised the unique experiences visitors can expect. Suzie Parker, Events Manager at Everton Football Club, said: “We're excited to be giving fans on the tour a first look at our newly-refurbished tunnel and changing rooms, and our brand-new hospitality lounges. We're proud of our home and continued investment in Goodison Park, and the new-look spaces mean that even those who have been on a tour before will have plenty of new features to explore on a return visit. With tickets for a standard tour starting at just £5, we've aimed to make it an affordable day out. “The addition of our new Legends Tour and Match Ticket package means fans can enjoy an immersive Everton experience over two days, with the benefit of attending a match. We hope this will appeal to fans visiting the city for a few days, far-flung Evertonians coming home and wanting to really connect with the Club, or as a unique way to mark a special celebration and get closer to the Blues.” Book your tour now About these ads
