Disclaimer Dave Abrahams 1 Posted 27/08/2019 at 17:28:54 Everton are playing Mansfield Town away tonight, is there any mention of the game being screened live anywhere? Dave Abrahams 2 Posted 27/08/2019 at 20:34:36 Anthony skipped past FOUR Mansfield players and scored with a great swerving shot, even the Mansfield supporters clapped the goal. Dave Abrahams 3 Posted 27/08/2019 at 20:36:43 Anthony Gordon above obviously. Dave Abrahams 4 Posted 27/08/2019 at 20:53:08 Everton leading at half time with that fabulous Gordon goal, although I never saw it.Both teams have hit the woodwork with great efforts, ours came from a free kick by Evans from way out, just before half time. Dave Abrahams 5 Posted 27/08/2019 at 21:15:18 Gordon has another good effort brilliantly saved by Stone the Mansfield keeper, early in the second half. Dave Abrahams 6 Posted 27/08/2019 at 21:19:31 Beni Banginime sent off for second yellow card. Mike Gaynes 7 Posted 27/08/2019 at 21:22:04 Great reporting, Dave. Dave Abrahams 8 Posted 27/08/2019 at 21:32:30 Mike, getting this information off another website. The attendance at Mansfield tonight is 824, including 55 away fans, don't know how they worked that out but well done you Everton fans. Dave Abrahams 9 Posted 27/08/2019 at 21:36:47 Sterling James equalises with three minutes to go, looks like the game is going to pens. Dave Abrahams 10 Posted 27/08/2019 at 21:40:02 Simms substituted not long after coming on, looks like an injury. Seven minutes added on time being played. Mike Gaynes 11 Posted 27/08/2019 at 21:45:47 Shoot, Dave, knowing your dedication I pictured you at the ground tapping out these updates on a laptop. Dave Abrahams 12 Posted 27/08/2019 at 21:49:08 I'm smiling at that Mike, the game has gone to pens, Mambula Cameron for Simms, who I think would have been one of the penalty takers. Dave Abrahams 13 Posted 27/08/2019 at 22:01:15 Everton have won the penalty shoot out 4-1 with successful pens from Evans, Charlsey, Foulds and Marcelo, Tyrer the ‘keeper made a great save from one of the Mansfield pens. That's one point for the draw and a bonus point for the penalty shoot out win, over all one point lost, Everton can't do anything right at the moment !!! Unsworth out !!! Sam Hoare 14 Posted 27/08/2019 at 22:08:17 Sounds like Gordon was brilliant. I wonder if we'll see him in first team this season. Sounds like he can pass, dribble and score so that's 3 things Walcott struggles with! Brent Stephens 15 Posted 27/08/2019 at 22:10:35 Thanks for the updates, Dave. John Raftery 16 Posted 27/08/2019 at 22:33:31 Gordon can pass dribble and score. Will he play in the first team? Nah, not our type of player! Alan J Thompson 17 Posted 28/08/2019 at 06:00:22 55 away supporters? Probably just parked the bus behind the goal. Steve Ferns 18 Posted 28/08/2019 at 15:23:25 Anthony Gordon's wonder goalin case you have yet to see this.
