It was the first ever Women's Super League fixture between the two clubs at Liverpool FC's stadium and the match was settled by a single goal. Everton captain Lucy Graham's fired home from distance at the end of the first half to earn the win for Willie Kirk's side. Even the way folks talk about is different. When women's football is discussed, it generally sounds normal and mature, whereas so much commentary on men's football is cringeworthy and childish, the BBC being a prime example.
