Season › 2019-20 › News Cenk Tosun set to miss rest of the season with potentially serious knee injury Wednesday, 4 March, 2020 2comments | Jump to most recent Cenk Tosun could miss the rest of the season after suffering a potentially serious injury. The Everton striker, who is on loan with Crystal Palace is understood to have suffered an injury to his knee during training. It is now likely Tosun will not feature again for Palace and he is also a doubt for Euro 2020 with Turkey. An option for Palace to buy the Turk for £20M was included as part of his loan from Everton but that possible deal may now be in jeopardy. He was probably rushed back too quickly from his initial injury and that might have aggravated his condition. For Everton, the bad luck with player injuries continues; this will probably shave off about 㾻-20 million from the summer transfer budget. Rudi Coote 2 Posted 05/03/2020 at 15:36:03 Shame for the lad. I always liked his attitude. He would have benefitted playing with a more attack minded team. Good luck, Cenk.
