Disclaimer Dave Abrahams 1 Posted 14/09/2020 at 12:05:56 I'm happy with most of the performance, very happy with the result, it's still a case of wait and see and hopefully a couple more players coming in, even on loan, with some going out. Kim Vivian 3 Posted 14/09/2020 at 15:25:32 "...Mourinho has complained of that already, but there are plenty of managers who would gladly replace him. Indeed, he has just played one, and lost".Fucking twat, Samuel. Will Mabon 4 Posted 14/09/2020 at 16:30:28 Kim, don't you just hate it?I haven't read a copy of the Mail for 30 years, or any other general newspaper. From that time back, to when I was a child, the Mail always had an anti-Everton bias that was so bad, the club apparently complained in the late 70s.There I was, reading the article - quite realistic, I thought. Then that parting snipe.I'm sure they attend a mandatory training course for it. James Flynn 5 Posted 15/09/2020 at 14:47:55 Kim (3) - What was wrong with that statement? Carlo has stated that Europe is the goal, which we all want. Not going to look up Plovdiv, but don't we wish it was us going instead of Spurs? Dan Nulty 6 Posted 15/09/2020 at 15:12:01 Because Samuel is insinuating that Ancelotti would gladly replace Mourinho. Why would he? Spurs are on a downward trend unless they bring someone in to give the place a lift like we have done. Jose won't see out the season. Already battering his players in the press after one game. I wouldn't want to put in 100 percent effort for him.It feels a common placed misconception to name Spurs as a big club. So they've got in the champions league a few times. So what, brought in money but they have won nothing. Trophy cupboard is almost as bare as ours for the last 30 years. Kevin Molloy 7 Posted 15/09/2020 at 15:21:54 I agree with James I think Samuel is insinuating that Mourinho is complaining about conditions in the Europa, not being Tottehham manager. To complain about being spurs manager would be crazy for him to do at this stage. So I don't take that last bit as a dig at Everton James Flynn 8 Posted 15/09/2020 at 19:45:53 Dan (6) - Nah. Seeing the bogeyman where none exists.During the week, Jose complained about the crowded fixture list for Spurs over the next couple week; including having to fly out for a Europa game. I don't read Samuel. He could have written that last bit better than he did. But I'm sure he meant that Carlo wishes WE were playing in Europe, not that he wishes he was managing Spurs.Kevin (7) - Yep.
