Season › 2020-21 › News Simms grabs a brace on league debut Tuesday, 27 January, 2021 12comments | Jump to most recent Ellis Simms came off the bench for Blackpool with 20 minutes to go and scored two goals as the Seasiders thrashed Wigan 5-0 in League One. The 20-year-old is loan at Blackpool from Everton for the remainder of the season and, having made his first ever senior appearance in the FA Cup defeat at Brighton last Saturday, he again came off the bench this evening, replacing Jerry Yates. He converted from very close range in the 87th minute and then added another simple finish in stoppage time to round off the rout.
