Tom Cannon, a young striker with Everton's U18s side, has signed his first professional contract with Everton, agreeing to a 2-year deal that runs until June 2023.
Over the last two seasons, he has scored 21 league goals for the U18 side. The Aintree-born Irish player has talked of the support he has received since joining Everton Academy aged 10 has driven his development as a player.
“It is a proud moment for myself and my family to sign this contract. To come through the Academy system and sign professionally is an amazing feeling.
“Through all the ranks and all the age groups, each coach has helped massively in my progression.

“I'm very thankful for that and I'll aim to keep repaying the confidence the Club has shown in me.”

He scored a cracking goal earlier in the season for the U18s; you won't see a better goal from any of the other Everton players, at any level, this season.
