Disclaimer Dave Abrahams 1 Posted 10/03/2021 at 13:06:21 Nice to see Tom has finally signed his first pro contract with the Blues, there has been some doubt about him signing. He scored a cracking goal earlier in the season for the U18s; you won't see a better goal from any of the other Everton players, at any level, this season. Best of luck, Tom, with your career. Brian Cleveland 2 Posted 10/03/2021 at 14:44:41 Not a bad surname for a striker! Good luck lad. Derek Knox 3 Posted 10/03/2021 at 16:31:13 Like you say Dave A, great name for a striker, let's hope he has balls, and fires us ahead regularly. Who knows he be one of the big guns one day. Des Farren 4 Posted 11/03/2021 at 11:51:09 Jeez, not another gun thread!Best of luck Tom. Derek Knox 5 Posted 11/03/2021 at 13:53:41 Des, a Gun Thread would imply that it has a silencer. :-) Mike Gaynes 6 Posted 11/03/2021 at 17:03:02 So Dave, he's already turning opposing defenders into Cannon fodder?Sorry about that lame pun, but all the good lines had already been taken by Derek and Des. Phill Thompson 7 Posted 12/03/2021 at 13:43:54 As Dave alluded to, Tom Cannon is a scorer of great goals as opposed to say a great goalscorer e.g. Simms scored many more goals at the same age, Cannon is better technically. The fact he's got a two year contract, as opposed to a single year, is a good sign for him, although there is a suggestion that he was holding out for 2 years before he signed. Jay Wood[BRZ] 8 Posted 12/03/2021 at 14:51:24 One to mark in your calendar for next week. Brent Stephens 10 Posted 12/03/2021 at 14:58:11 Derek #5, nice one. You're in the groove today. Silencer aka moderator. Dean Ilott 11 Posted 13/03/2021 at 00:31:17 Good news about Cannon. Let's hope we can sign other youngsters of such high calibre... Dave Abrahams 12 Posted 13/03/2021 at 12:09:30 Jay (8), the winners play Man. City in the next round, they won their tie 6-1, I think against Birmingham City. Justin Doone 13 Posted 16/03/2021 at 13:56:32 I'm happy with the attacking tools but who's goings to supply the ammunition? What we lack is a RODriguez and 'Coleman' to help prepare the fire.
