Disclaimer Jim Bennings 1 Posted 21/04/2021 at 19:13:23 Have they completely forgotten about the postponed Villa away game?I found it baffling at the time once they abandoned the match in January they should have instantly had a new date lined up in agreement with both clubs, just weird. Ian Pilkington 2 Posted 21/04/2021 at 20:24:37 Villa A should have been played 3 months ago on 16th January and we have been on catch up ever since with a game in hand. We now have to play 5 matches in 3 weeks in May, despite neither club being involved in Europe. Ridiculous. Barry Hesketh 3 Posted 21/04/2021 at 20:35:43 Ian @2Yet another example of how manipulative the Broadcasters and the 'rebel' clubs have become, any chance of maintaining their lofty positions from week to week is taken, longer rests between games, schedules that see the likes of Everton and others face the big teams in batches of five or six fixtures, every opportunity to maintain the status-quo is looked for and taken. It's just a pity that this current Everton side doesn't have enough about it to have made a real fist of the fight for the Champions League because it would have been so sweet to have taken the place off one of the usual suspects in this of all seasons. Kunal Desai 4 Posted 21/04/2021 at 22:49:37 How long have the PL had to re-arrange Villa away. No doubt this will probably get played the midweek before Man City away. Si Cooper 5 Posted 22/04/2021 at 02:12:16 What is the possible reason for not having already scheduled the Villa game? Isn't everything else pre-determined now? Jim Bennings 6 Posted 22/04/2021 at 07:39:48 They've had plenty of free midweeks to fit it in since January but it's like they've forgot that it was postponed. Barry Williams 7 Posted 24/04/2021 at 01:09:27 I guess it all depends on how much Everton are a threat to the Champions League cartel before the unarranged fixture is rearranged.Do you think this would happen to Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, or the unmentionables? Or those other massive powerhouses, Spurs and the Arsenal!!!!!????
