David Pearl 2 Posted 28/06/2021 at 19:24:30 James, he is turning into the keeper we hoped he would be. England don't concede too many chances but when called upon he has made some cracking saves Danny O’Neill 3 Posted 29/06/2021 at 07:32:34 Not sure about the Neuer comparison and I can't access the article so I don't know if it's making comparisons (eg, similarities) or it's comparing the differences.Neuer to me is the best keeper around right now. He reminds me in many ways of Schmeichel Mk 1.I agree with you though David, we've seen much improvement in Jordan and he's finally becoming the keeper we hoped. We have to remember we signed him relatively young for a keeper. He is calmer and becoming more commanding. The shot-stopping ability has never been in question. Dennis Stevens 4 Posted 29/06/2021 at 11:49:58 Hear! Hear! Pickford shouldn't even be reaching his peak as a 'keeper for a good while yet. I think he'll prove to be an increasingly sound investment – assuming Everton hang onto him, of course.
